After a much needed win on the road in the swamp versus the Florida Gators, the LSU Tigers are -1.5 favorites to upset No. 7 Ole Miss. Last year Ole Miss defeated LSU 31-17 & the only team they’ve beaten this season that’s worthy of mentioning is Kentucky.

The Rebels are ranked third in the country in rushing yards & first in rushing touchdowns led by true freshman Quinshon Judkins along with Zach Evans. This could be problems for the Tigers especially with how they’ve struggled with tackling this season. The uptempo offense that Lane Kiffin loves to run could also take the crowd noise out of the game as well.

Keys To Winning For LSU -

Start fast & get a lead because the Rebels have never trailed in a game this season
Hold the Rebels offense under 50% on third downs
Hold the Rebels rushing attack under 180 yards
WIN on special teams with flipping the field position, which has plagued the Tigers all season
Force the Rebels to have to be pass heavy because their offense is less affective when they have to rely on quarterback Jaxson Dart
Tigers kicker Damian Ramos will have to be on point & could possibly be the reason they win or lose this game
