Photos by A.J Bolden After going down 10-0 in the half, the Braves recovered & ended up winning 41-17 over Ellender to start the season at 1-0. Braves sophomore Demarcus Singleton showed why he has a chance to be special these next three years after rushing for 131 yards & 49 yards receiving with 1 touchdown. The Braves outscored the Patriots 34-7 in the second half because of the play from senior quarterback Jordan Rainey who passed for 107 yards passing along with 50 yards rushing & 4 total touchdowns. Senior Will Babin scored on a 4 yard touchdown run for the Braves and sophomore Quan Harris scored on a 18 yard touchdown reception. Sophomore receiver Royal Williams had his coming out party for the Patriots with 3 catches for 115 yards. Senior running back Ty’Shaun Hester led the Patriots with 43 yards rushing & 1 touchdown.
