UL Cajun Football Signee Kyren Lacy: Discusses Adversity He Went Through, His Future, & Giving Up Basketball
Lacy was ranked as the second-best receiver in the state of Louisiana by 247Sports.com for the 2020 class. He ended his senior season, tallying 54 receptions for 864 yards along with 18 touchdowns. Earned a First Team All-District & all-state honorable mention in 5A.
The Thibodaux High standout was also a highly regarded high school basketball player as well. He finished his senior year averaging 23.3 points, 12.0 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game.
The 6-foot-2, 215 pound prospect held offers from some big time program like Miami, Virginia, Houston, Mississippi St, Kansas, Louisiana Tech, & a host of others.
