One year after Carver lost by one point in the state title game, the Rams came out on a mission from the tip going up 26-4 in the first quarter. The Rams never looked back & defeated McMain 66-31 to win the 4A state championship Saturday at Burton Coliseum. Texas A&M signee Solomon Washington had a spectacular performance finishing with 12 points, 20 rebounds, 9 assists, & 6 blocks for the Rams. Of course he earned The Most Outstanding Player.
