Two sport athlete Ian Montz was responsible for 2 interceptions, which one was on the final play in the end zone to win the game. Acadiana’s ground game was a different story racking up 306 yards. Omiri Wiggins rushed for 113 yards & 2 touchdowns while his counterpart Keven Williams rushed for 101 yards & 1 touchdown. The Rams only passed for 2 yards the entire game. John Curtis was in control majority of the first half out-gaining the Rams 167-119 & went into halftime up 13-7. The Patriots got touchdown runs from quarterback Buddy Taylor for six yards & running back Charles Quinn for seven yards. The Rams front seven was terrific in the second half against Curtis’s midline option led by defensive end Cam George *UL-Lafayette commit*, defensive tackle Atravon Bossier, & Derreck Bercier.
